Your idea of a goal in one month to allow fabric purchase in the next month is positively brilliant.sewprimitive karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04125490235366694521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13842210.post-1156706494642126552006-08-27T15:21:00.000-04:002006-08-27T15:21:00.000-04:00Nancy you are right. sometimes I have to force mys...Nancy you are right. sometimes I have to force myself to sit down. It's going to be a little tougher than this month has been because my friend, Jane, and I are going to explore new-to-us shops in SoCal. But I'm so out of the buying mode now that I think I'll be wanting to get only necessary things to complete projects. I am, however, looking forward to the inspiration infusion that I always get when I walk into a new quilt shop. I'm just going to try to parlay that inspiration into shopping in my stash first.

I hope your back feels better soon. I cracked a couple of vertebrae in '01 so I know how uncomfortable you are. But you're right about one thing. You might hurt just as much sitting in your sewing chair as sitting in your easy chair - but at least you'll be accomplishing something! Take care of yourself, honey!

HugsVickyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230311970559999653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13842210.post-1156689870575874952006-08-27T10:44:00.000-04:002006-08-27T10:44:00.000-04:00Nancy - your post really tugs on my heart strings....Nancy - your post really tugs on my heart strings. I think I have enough rulers and patterns to keep me going for a good while yet too - right now I would rather spend my $$$ on sending my tops out to a long-arm quilter.
