This is a "quilt" that my guild uses as a sign for or biannual quilt show. I uploaded it while trying to explain to someone else how to upload pictures. I knew I'd never remember all the steps so I needed to actually upload something as i wrote the instructions. I almost deleted this and didn't publish it but I think this is pretty cool so decided to share. LOL!

Hi Nancy, this is wild! It looks like there is a quilt draped over the hood, but is the rest painted? Inquiring minds want to know. Jen

Nope. It's a real quilt that covers the entire truck. has plastic sewn in where the windows and headlights are.

That is quite funny. I bet it does the job - getting everyones attention!

Haha --I saw something like this at a quilt show, and thought it was a riot! And I complain about binding a little lap robe -- imagine creating this quilt! :)

Nancy
I'm so glad you shared the pic of the ute!
"Somebody" had a lot of time AND a quirky sense of humour :-)
Just have to ask though: Was it a planned exercise or did it "grow" from unwanted blocks?
