TA DA!

Not a good picture I know as there is no where in my house to lay out a quilt this large and be able to get far enough back for a whole shot. When it gets back from the quilters I'll get someone to hold it up for me so I can get better pictures.

I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. My pinwheel borders that were supposed to float in the background kinda get lost as there isn't a lot of contrast in some spots. But I like it and will love using it on my bed come this December.

Oh, Nancy - it's simply lovely! The floating borders look fine. I think the variety of contrast is what always makes scrappy so great!

Nancy, I love it and am glad to see what you did with the pinwheels. Very creative and effective!! It's like they are dancing in the border. Fun!

Awesome. I must remember to make my borders with blocks as you did. This quilt is a real keeper!

Nancy: How did you get that done so quickly? It's so pretty!! The red borders really set it off and I think your pinwheels show up nicely. You wouldn't want them to overpower the pineapple blossoms.

I love it, that border is just terrific! I love the way the pinwheels are only in the corners. & I like the way some of the pinwheel baldes "get lost" and how the whole border floats....

All in ALL you did a great job!

Great quilt! I can't believe it is a scrap quilt - it all looks so contained. I really like the double red borders and the pinwheels are a nice border touch - I've GOT to work on spiffing up my borders.

Glad you are feeling better.

Cheers!
