I tried all day yesterday to post this picture and blogger wasn't being very co-operative.
Just look at what I got in the mail Saturday! Laurie Ann recently attended a quilt show and while shopping the vendors came across this really cute cat print. And she said she immediately thought about me and Amy because she knew we collected cat prints just like she collects dog prints. So she bought us each a FQ! That was soooooo sweet of her! And she even send a card from the place she purchased it in case we wanted to contact them about purchasing more. Which of course I did. :-) I bought 3 yards yesterday to make me a shirt out of.
Thank you so much Laurie Ann! Not only is this fq perfect for a project I have simmering on the back burner I'm also going to get a pretty blouse out of the extra I bought. Blogger friends are the best!

You know the cats and cat prints collect you as much as you collect them!!. Can't wait to see the blouse that comes from this fabric. It is soooo you.
Went to the Shibori website, interesting patterns and fabs. Isn't it fun to know we have made the world smaller by having a blog?
Can't wait to see your new blouse and what you come up with for your FQ
Blogger friends are the best *s* Cute fabric.
It's SO cute! Blogger friends are definitely great!
GREAT fabric!! What a sweet friend.
I missed your What do you Collect? post the other day, so I'm commenting here. I love your cat collection. I collect real cats (Hee hee! Actually, they collected me). I loved seeing your cat collection.
For me, it is all things tea related, silk scarves, a few cat things, etc... (don't want to horrify you with the number of collections)
Nice gift. Good to see you posting again like crazy.
Do you ever think that you get these wee gifties from others because you are such a caring person yourself?
Great fabric. Yes, you are special.......
Great fabric...and a great RAK! :D
Those unexpected gifties are the greatest! Its fun to be on the giving end too when you know the recipient will be tickled...
Great fabric. Thanks for the link to the website - great website. I saw some wonderful dragonfly fabric I "need". And I think I may one day be able to go to the shop - as it is not too far from me.
What a good friend! I can just imagine a shirt out of this.
What a lovely surprise. Yup - blogger friends are definitely the best :-)
lucky you! It's a very nice print. Hope you'll show what you make with it.
Lovely present- lucky you!
It would not have been near as fun if you had known it was coming. How sweet of Laurie Ann to think of you!
