It is with much sadness that I report the passing of Sam, Chief Inspector of my Quilt Quality Control team. I found him in the yard when I came home. Looked like something, probably a dog, had gotten hold of him. :-( One of the dangers of having indoor/outdoor cats. Sammy-Boy, you will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sammy. I have two outdoor male cats and worry when they come home for two day. When they do come back sometimes they come back with bad cuts. That keeps them from roaming for quite a while. But I do worry about them.
