Just wanted to prove to my chief naggers that I HAVE still been working. That pile in front of the plastic drawers is a bunch of scraps that I'm currently cutting up and some larger pieces that need folded and put away so it isn't as bad as it looks. The fan I bought a year ago and it was still in the box. Took me all of 3 minutes to put it together once I pulled it out of the pile. I guess next I'll tackle one of those laundry baskets of stuff.
And, Vicky, I don't know if this picture shows it or not but the wrapping paper is still there. Believe it or not it has a legitimate use in the sewing room. I'll be making clothes soon. And I usually have to alter patterns to fit me properly. I've found wrapping paper to make MUCH better patterns than tissue paper so when I get a pattern altered the way I like it I make a permanent pattern from the wrapping paper. SO THERE! :-P

Looks like you are making good progress. I've been doing little at a time in my sewing room. It helps me not to get overwhelmed.
Is that a treadmill I spy in the corner? The one that ALMOST has room to be opened up and used???
Oh, I think you can move the treadmill out and use it now. Let's see, you could read old magazines and take out the patterns/pics you want to keep and trash the rest...all while walking your way to good health.
Aren't I just a devil of late?
Wow!! I'm truly impressed! You're making fabulous headway.
Now about that wrapping paper story ...... it's a good one! :) What a unique use for that! Okay, okay, it can stay!
My computer is in the shop. It seems my protection program took a nosedive, and immediately I started getting nasty pop-up stuff. So they came and got it. I don't think it'll be home for the weekend, although they said they'd try. Can't ask for more than that. Nancy, consider yourself nagged and emailed and reminded daily to get in there and finish up that organization UFO! I'll be checking back with you on Monday!!
(Hugs) for your weekend!
Keep at it Nancy - you are making great progress! I always find an organized spot much more "restful" than a hodge podge of stuff (even though there usually is the same amount of stuff in the space - it is just organized!). If you have a pattern that you really love and use alot - you can also cut it out of an old flannel backed plastic table cloth. This is especially great if you use slippery fabric and you can use the tiny, small rotary cutter to cut your clothes out (provided you have a mat under there, of course)! I am just wondering what David thinks about all this cleaning???
Cheers!
Evelyn
WOW, tht is a huge difference to the previous photo! well done!
ye, I can see that treadmill in the corner! LOL
