Finn, this is the little quilt I was telling you about. Not a very good picture as it's a scan of an not-very-good-to-start-with photo. These blocks were made when I was testing patterns back in the mid 90s. (As you can tell my sense of "value" wasn't very good back then!) My aunt loved it as it the colors went well with her decor back then so she got it and the doll for Christmas one year.

I especially love the block on the upper right that looks like a cross between a card tricks and drunkards path. I can't remember what the name of it is. I know it came from an older quilt book Mama had but when I brought her books home this summer after her funeral I've not been able to find it. I really want to make a whole quilt using this pattern so I guess I'll just reproduce it from the picture.

Hi Nancy, that really is an interesting block. Don't think I"ve ever seen that one. A whole quilt of it would be fun..but you'd make it bigger, right?? Cause this one looks pretty small to me..LOL

Thanks for the picture..it really is a sweet little quilt. And isn't it nice that when we don't love something, someone else does? *VBS*

When you find the pattern I'd be intersted. From a distance it reminded me of snowmen with scraves...
