2nd Weeks Progress

Well 2 weeks of the new year have passed and I'm proud to report I've still purchased no new fabric. Was tempted a few times as I've done some of the FabShopHop. But never actually whipped out the credit card to complete any of the orders.

I finished my first top of 2006. The borders busted 2 yds of stash. No pictures yet as I've been very sick since I finished it. Maybe in a few days.

No new projects started. I have selected my next project to add to my list but haven't felt like pulling the pieces and taking pictures of that either. I'll be completing a top with swap blocks I swapped with an online group last year. Black/white/bright. I have a few thoughts on how to put these blocks together so when i feel more like playing on the computer I'll work each up in EQ5 and see which I like best.

I have got a lot of my scrappy spools done. All the 4patches are done and about 1/3 of the HST. I have a feeling this just became a "regular" project instead of a leaders/enders. LOL!

And since I reported it here last week, I'll report that I lost an additional 3.8 lbs. last week for a total of 8.9 so far this year.

I hope you're feeling better today.

I, too, have been Hopping and filling carts with things but not sending the order. It's a good thing I haven't sent the orders. LOL.

Get well soon so you feel like playing.

Hugs.

Good job on both the no buying and the weight loss. I don't have a no buy goal as such but an trying to limit my buying and use what I have. Feel better soon.

Nancy! You are doing so good on so many fronts. Congratulations on the weight loss. That is fantatsic! And, going through the shop hop without buying fabric is hard so . . keep up the good work!

And, can't wait to see a picture of your newly finished quilt top.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Way to go! I'm impressed at how you're hanging with two distinct goals -- both of which require a lot of will power. You're doing great!
