Nancy, those are so pretty! When we lived in Texas, I loved going out near Brenham to a craft show and the blue bonnets were always in bloom at that time.
oh! lovely! I bought bluebonnet fabric when we were in Texas in 2002-along with other floral go with fabrics-they are still together waiting for the Texas quilt to come...thanks for sharing! Cher
Oh, Nancy! Can I come to your house this spring? Every March I wish that I could be back in Texas for bluebonnet season. I really miss those beautiful Texas wildflowers!
Its nice to be reminded that spring flowers actually exist. Its several months (about April) before even the hardiest tulips show here... till then just lots of snow and ice..
Hi, I am in Texas too and can't help but wonder with this dry winter if we will have any blue bonnets this year. Might just be an indian paint brush year. http://morningramble.blogspot.com/

Is that a current photo? (Have you seen the pattern - Georgia O'Keefe inspired....)
Those are one of the few things that I miss about Texas....
Thanks for the comment about my experimental applique... We'll see how well it works. (next year.... I don't see myself working on it any sooner....)
Nancy thank you for the beautiful pictures of the flowers. :)
