Turning Twenty

I finished the Turning Twenty top that will be the background for my fish appliques. I rather like it as it is but David has decided this will be his quilt and he wants the fish so fish he will get. :-) It's not often he shows enthusiasm for one of my quilts so when he does I like to encourage that any way I can.

Break time is over. I'm headed back to the sewing room now to work on my Lucky Stars. I should get the blocks finished tonight. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with a picture of the finished top.

That is going to make a stunning background for fish applique, though I like it as it is too. Can't wait to see the fish swimming across it.

I can't wait to see the fish! (Are they going to be bright & funky or realistic...)

This will be a perfect background for some fish. This pattern isn't one of my favourites, but as a background it's right up there.

How pretty! The colors look so serene and water-like so the fish will look wonderful on that background.

What a great backgroud for a fish quilt. I've never done a TT quilt but have the pattern for "someday."
