Block 1
1 Weather Vane block done, 35 to go. I'm pretty pleased with it. Hopefully by the time I make the other 35 I'll still be pleased. I know some fabric combos won't please me as much as others but I think as a whole it will look nice. And just in case you're real observant, no that green dot on the edge is not in my photo below of the fabrics. It's also an April Cornell from her Poetry line that I had in my stash already. I thought it looked nice with the others and added a bit more light to the mix as I've decided to leave out the cream print at the bottom and save it for the border.

I LIKE! I'm glad you got to work on your new project today. Can't wait to see the rest.
Oh I really like this...and I agree, the green dot is just right for the background on your block...it really sets the rest of the block off. 1 down 35 to go...ah, that is NOTHING for you...you'll be done in no time!

Pretty.
I like that block pattern - very effective, looking forward to seeing how the top builds up.
I like those fabrics together in that block. I think I have some of the green dot fabric too.
Very, very nice Nancy!
You're going to have a cool secondary too.
Love love love that block! Can't wait to watch the progress of this quilt! I'm smiling at the fun you're having!
