Good Morning. I was so tired when I got home last night it was tempting to just veg out in my chair with my laptop. But I've promised myself I'll sew at least 15 minutes a day so right after supper I made myself sit down at the machine. 2 hours later I had all the 9-1/2" strips sewn and pressed on my Pineapple Blossom blocks, the rest of the corner squares cut and the sewing line drawn on them. So I'm that much closer and should still have the top completed before the weekend. So far I'm pretty pleased with the way they're turning out. Some of my strips were really too light to make the design pop but I used them anyway. No pictures yet. I promise as soon as I get the top done I'll get some taken.

Can't wait to see your pineapple quilt! Everyone is really going to town with those! Can't wait to start mine.

Setting a **little** time goal like that is just the trick -- it leads to bigger and better things! I'll be watching for a pic of yur pineapples.

Love the idea of a small time committment like that for each day. I can see how easily it'd morph into the 2 hours with something to show for it! I'm looking forward to seeing this quilt top. Keep up the hard work.

good for you for sticking with your plan! It really helps with the getting things done philosophy. I too need to get back to my sewing every day plan... (Since I have stuff out with a long armer, I have gotten lazy with piecing...)

Thank you for the reminder about setting a small goal to accomplish big things. Happy piecing.

Good for you for being disciplined and actually sewing! I try to balance my "computer quilting" time with my actual sewing at the sewing machine time. Right now I am waiting for a fabric package to come in the mail so I have been using that time to knit scarfs right now. A little bit here and there does add up - or sometimes that little bit ends up being a big roll!

Cheers!
